S. Lee Robinson (Sheri Lee Robinson) is an American Abstract/Surrealist/Impressionist Painter currently living and working in Los Angeles. Born in St. Louis and raised in California, S. Lee graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1989 with a BFA in Painting. Her primary mediums include oil, ink, and indigo dye on both canvas and paper. Influences span from her interest in various world mythologies to painters such as William Turner, Gustave Moreau, 1950’s Bay Area painters and New York School Abstract heavyweights like Franz Kline, Willem De Kooning and Helen Frankenthaler with Robert Motherwell being her absolute favorite.
