Idexa also offers a unique scar reduction treatment called Skin Needling.
Skin Needling was developed in South Africa by physicians and passed on to innovative tattooists who discovered its possibilities. It's basically dry tattooing. Skin Needling gently breaks the bands of tissue that hold the scar and wrinkles down. By freeing the skin from these bands the path for collagen and elastin production is now open repairing the skin with immediate results.
The appearance is like cat scratches that quickly heal. Skin Needling can be done on any part of the body, such as face, arms, neck, under eyes, eye lids, stomach, breasts, hands, fingers etc. Scars from childhood, acne, piercings, burns and surgery can all be greatly improved in appearance, texture and immovability with Skin Needling. Healing time is 1-5 days depending how deep the wrinkle or scar was. Large surgical scars can take longer to heal.
